Online Games – WOW etc
Been playing games on X-Boxes, PCs, PDAs and Nintendo’s for years and I’ve never realized that the proper online games are actually killing the console market. With all the dedicated game consoles out there I thought that PC games had their days numbered. But it’s interesting that I have a Wii and a 360 here but I still playing BF2142 and WOW more than I do on the XBox.
Both those PC online games you have to play more and more to get further and make the game more interesting. That’s something that XBox Live doesn’t have that I’ve noticed. I know you get points for winning bits of games but what’s the point of that as you get nothing back. With WOW and BF2142 the more you play the more the game opens up. It makes the games last for months and months.
I wonder if there will be some proper online games like this on XBL or on the Wii one day ?
How about WoW on XBL, Im sure it will create a new huge buzz for XBL community, however for some PC users, it might annoyed them completely but it be nice to see PC account can be switch to XBL without any complication. Fancy seeing WoW on 360 then? Im not sure myself and will it happen?
